Load track from file Click the "Load" button (A) to bring up the menu. Select "Load Track from File (Multi)". (B) From the Ozi tutorial folder select select the file .plt file. Open the file to show loaded track. |

Track Control Now we have our sample track loaded lets work with the track a little. Click the (A) manual create track points button. Click the track control (B) button to bring up the window. (C) Click the all new track points active button. (D) There are 23 track points in this track. Lets make the track show points show up. Press the button by (E) and use the mouse left click to enclose and make active track points visible. |

Make & Move Track Points (A) Active track points now show up as dots. A track point must be marked active to modify. Since we choose create track points and make all active in the last view, left click the map to make another point (B). Right click that point for a track point menu (C). Tip: Hold down the shift key while left clicking and holding a point to reposition that point on the map. |

Save Tracks to a file. (A) Click "File", "Save to File", and "Save Track to File". Standard track files are *.plt (plot) files. Ozi Explorer is a great waypoint and track management tool. An waypoint feature even allows you to associate pictures with your waypoints. |

Sending tracks to Lowrance and Garmin (A) If the GPS configuration was set up as a Lowrance unit your view will look like above. Any tracks/trails, waypoints, and routes will be sent to or from your unit with these buttons. (B) Garmin users (below) must send tracks, waypoints and routes separately. Text and PCX5 file support also offered. |
